This test is also called the intracavernosal test. To perform this test doctor injects a medicine into the base which gives an erection of the penis. 

If you did not get an erection with this medicine it shows that you have a blood flow problem to your penis.

Mental Health 

Usually, erectile dysfunction is caused by different kinds of mental and emotional issues. To understand the problem well doctor can ask you different questions about your mental health. These questions help him to check for anxiety, depression, or any other cause for ED.
